The kids in our neighborhood have all grown up together, and the number of experiences they can have on a single block is amazing. It’s awesome to sit on the front porch and watch the caravan of children travel from one house to the next. When our nanny Ashley started, she knew the kids in the neighborhood but didn’t know where they all lived. It made it a little difficult to round them up for dinner or scheduled outings, so we talked about what would work best for both of us.
I created a map of the neighborhood and a list of contact information for each neighbor and their kids as an easy reference. Now it’s quick and simple to know where the kids are playing and how to get a hold of them. We’ve revised this list a few times in the last few years, and it has been a huge help in getting to know our neighbors and the kids in the neighborhood. Eventually I shared this list with all my neighbors, and they love it. We thought you and your neighbors could use this download too. Enjoy!
